Argus West SIU Spear Program Lien Defense team successfully defeated a $4,100 lien filed by a DME Company, securing a 100% reduction with zero payment.

The lien claimant initially sought payment but was met with SIU-based defenses, highlighting critical weaknesses in their lien claim. When the matter was set for trial, the provider failed to appear, citing a “calendaring error.” Despite their request for a continuance, our team refused to delay proceedings and insisted the provider either move forward on the record or withdraw their lien.

With no viable counterarguments and no ability to substantiate their claim, the lien claimant ultimately withdrew their lien before trial. The withdrawal was documented in the Minutes of Hearing (MOH), securing yet another victory in the fight against unsupported liens.
