After over a year of persistent pressure from lien claimants, Argus West’s SPEAR Program delivered a major win at Lien Trial. What began as two routine lien demands (one from an interpreting provider and another from a diagnostic testing company) both were escalated to a Lien Conference and ultimately contested at trial.

Through the SPEAR Program’s in-depth Billing Analysis and SIU Investigation, we uncovered serious issues: the interpreting lien claimant failed to provide any proof that interpreter services were rendered and had licensing deficiencies. The diagnostic testing lien claimant was operating without proper licensure and had not registered to collect payment on liens.

Armed with these findings, we took the case to trial. The WCJ agreed both lien claimants failed to meet their burden of proof and issued a Findings and Order disallowing both liens. No payments were made—resulting in 100% savings totaling $23,660.33 for our client.
